Dr. Louis Carr
President, BET
Dr. Louis Carr is President of BET, a role he assumed in December 2025 after nearly four decades of transformative leadership within the company. Across his 39-year tenure, Carr has helped shape BET into the premier media destination for Black audiences worldwide, driving culture, impact, and community empowerment. He founded the Louis Carr Internship Foundation, which has provided 300+ paid internships, and was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame in 2023.
